Highland Fling Town & Country fayre
We are currently in pre production on our first big event for clients in the South Yorkshire area. Once again we are producing the hugely successful Highland Fling Town and Country Fayre in Graves Park, Sheffield on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th of May 2009.
Last year the event had over 23,000 people turn out in one day. Now on for two days the event is all about family fun with a fresh spring theme.
With a big Go Outdoors area, funfairs, arena entertainments, a highland cattle show, Daring dog display, mountain bike display team, sheep dog trials, circus skills and craft workshops, horse riding lots of market stalls in a huge marquee and much more, it’s a great value day out. The event is being produced for Green City Events, a social enterprise based in Sheffield. The entry price is cheap at £4 for adults and kids under 14 are admitted free with a paying adult.
HELP US RAISE FUNDS AS YOU SHOP
GCA has teamed up with easyfundraising.org.uk who provide a free service where you can raise funds for GCA and also save money when you shop online.
easyfundraising.org.uk offers access to over 150 of the UK's biggest and best-known retailers – but with a difference. Simply use the links provided on their website when you shop online and up to 15% of your purchase price will be donated back to GCA, FREE of charge.
It doesn't cost you anything extra to shop and raise funds in this way and there are lots of popular retailers participating including; DELL, Amazon, HMV, Virgin, AOL, Dixons, Comet, PLAY.COM, Choices Direct, Esure, The AA, Direct Line, M&S, Churchill and The Carphone Warehouse amongst many others.
As well as raising funds you can also make personal savings. Many retailers give special offers and “not-available-in-store” discounts when you shop online – some of which are exclusive to easyfundraising members.
All you need to do is visit easyfundraising.org.uk and register, selecting GCA as the organisation you wish to support (registration is FREE).
Why not raise funds for GCA whilst making purchases you would make anyway?
